CAST currently uses the three geophysical instruments listed above. These instruments have proven to be highly effective at a wide range of archaeological sites. Recent projects where the instruments have been used include work at Tiwanaku in Bolivia, the site of Amarna in Egypt, Tell Qarqur and Umm el Mara in Syria, as well as a multi-mound civic ceremonial center in Northwest Arkansas.
