The Canon 5D Mark II (originally introduced in 2008) is a digital SLR camera with 21.1 million pixels over a full-frame sensor (36 x 24mm) and is well suited for both close-range and low altitude aerial photogrammetric projects. This camera can also be controlled remotely (via USB cable or wireless using additional hardware) through Canon Utilities software. A range of fixed focus and zoom lenses are available for use with this camera, making it flexible enough for a range of project needs.
CAST has two 5D Mark II bodies, two 28mm fixed lenses, a 50mm fixed lens, and a 70-200mm f/4L zoom lens.
